This is a full-time OTR position with competitive compensation and weekly pay.
Job Description
Operate a Class A commercial vehicle to safely and efficiently transport freight across long-haul, over-the-road routes throughout the United States.
Handle primarily touchless freight, with proper use of equipment to ensure safe loading/unloading when required.
Manage time effectively to meet or exceed scheduled delivery windows.
Conduct thorough pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections of equipment and cargo to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and company safety policies, including Hours of Service (HOS) regulations and Electronic Logging Device (ELD) requirements.
Safeguard cargo integrity by ensuring all freight is properly secured and protected from damage.
Communicate clearly and promptly with dispatchers and operations team to report delays, incidents, or maintenance needs.
Keep accurate documentation, including trip logs, inspection reports, and receipts in accordance with company and DOT standards.
Provide great customer service while interacting with clients, receivers, and brokers.
Qualifications
• +2 years of OTR (over the road) driving experience.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Able to drive up to 3 weeks OTR (over the road) at a given time, following scheduled home time.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• Must have a DOT medical card.
• The ability to operate a pallet jack and lift gate.
• No DUI's in the last 5 years
